Quincy Recycle Starts Collecting Obsolete Electronics

Illinois firm adds electronics recycling to its services.

Quincy Recycle, a Quincy, Ill.-based paper and plastics recycling company, has announced plans to add obsolete electronics to the items it accepts for recycling at its Quincy location. 

The company will accept computers, televisions, monitors, laptops, cell phones, VCRs, stereos, copiers and fax machines, charging a $5 handling fee per computer monitor and television set. 

Established in 1974, Quincy Recycle has operations in Quincy and Alsip, Ill., and in New Haven, Ind. The company also operates a brokerage unit.
