Access Information Management, headquartered in Livermore, Calif., has announced that Ray Barry has joined the company as regional vice president of sales.
Prior to joining Access, Ray served as the president of Total Training Services, where he provided sales and RIM (records and information management) industry best practices to hundreds of industry professionals, including a number of current Access team members. With nearly two decades of sales management, marketing and training experience, Barry has a reputation for helping sales professionals in the RIM industry through his sales development program.
In his new role, Access says Barry will lead a team of high-energy sales professionals.
Barry also is past president of the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID), the Phoenix based nonprofit trade association for the information destruction industry, and has maintained an active role in the organization, including a seat on the NAID board of directors for the past seven years.
“I am very excited to be a part of the great, dynamic team here at Access,” Barry says. “This is a company that has certainly gotten my attention over the past 18 months as a clear leader in the industry. I am ready to help take Access to new heights.”
Nathan Campbell, Access chief operating officer, says, “Ray Barry is a welcomed addition to the Access management team. Over the last six months, the number of Access locations and clients has more than doubled, increasing our need for additional sales and account management expertise.” Campbell adds, “Ray has the background and experience we need to drive sales process and account management program improvement; delivering better communication and support to Access clients and prospects, nationwide.”
Access Information Management is the largest privately held RIM services provider in the United States. The company’s services include records management, data protection (electronic computer media), secure destruction and digital formatting services.
