eCycleSecure, an IT asset management and electronics recycling firm headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., has opened a second office in Atlanta. The office will be headed by Phil Edge.

The company, previously known as CompuTel, has been in operation for more than 15 years.
“Atlanta is an ideal market for us to grow, and we’re thrilled that Phil will be leading our expansion efforts,” says Dick Virtue, partner with eCycleSecure. “More and more companies in the area find themselves with surplus technology and electronics equipment, but they are concerned with data security and environmental risks associated with asset recovery and recycling efforts. That’s where we come in – we follow all local, state and federal regulations with a zero-landfill policy, as well as our own strict in-house processes, to ensure equipment and data are handled properly and efficiently, therefore mitigating risk while maximizing value for our clients. We’re excited to bring these peace-of-mind services to the greater Atlanta market.”
