California-based records management firm acquires Heritage Moving Systems’ records division.
Rob Alston, CEO of Livermore, Calif.-based Access, has announced that the company has completed the acquisition of the records management assets of Heritage Moving Systems, Aston, Pa. Alston says Access is in the process of relocating Heritage’s records inventories to Access’ Philadelphia facilities.
"The purchase of select records management inventory from Heritage Moving Systems is part of our overall expansion plan for the Delaware Valley," says John Chendo, president of Access. “Our company is now adding an additional facility to our local operations, allowing us to both serve our clients better and to facilitate our further growth in the Greater Philadelphia area. We are pleased to welcome these new clients to Access.”
Tim Walker, Access general manager in Philadelphia, will lead the integration of the client accounts from Heritage.
Access serves 27 markets in the United States. The company also has a presence in Costa Rica.
Access is backed by growth equity investor Summit Partners.
