Supplier of records storage and material handling systems expands into office environment with acquisition.
Chicago-based REB Storage Systems International, which specializes in the design, manufacture, distribution and installation of records storage and material handling systems, has announced the purchase of Classic Modular Systems Inc. (CMS), a Cary, Ill., company.
CMS is involved in the design of custom space solutions for office and plant environments through ergonomic task furniture, workstations, modular offices, high-density shelving and custom cabinets and counters.
Tom Lesko, REB president, says, “We are excited to start becoming involved once again in providing equipment and services for the office environment. We welcome Classic Modular Systems customers and pledge to continue providing them with the quality products and outstanding customer service that CMS has established.”
Juan Castillo Jr., who has worked for REB for nine years, will head up the company’s new division as account manager.
